Ginny Avery MA, PGDipVoice, LLAM

Ginny studied Theatre Arts (Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts), Classical and Contemporary Mime (Adam Darius Mime Centre, London) and Voice & Movement (Central School of Speech and Drama) and continues to work in many aspects of the theatre profession, including work in the film industry, TV, radio and live theatre.

Since completing a Masters Degree in 1995, Ginny has presented papers to the British Voice Association and lectured at the Speech Communication Association Conference in New Zealand. She has worked as Voice Specialist for a number of performing art schools including South Thames College and Oxford School of Drama and at London Academy of Theatre Arts (LAMDA) in London.

Ginny's ever popular "Speaking with Confidence" courses and tutorials have assisted numerous business and individual clients in the private and public sector. The courses cover such vital skills as presentation skills, motivational training, telesales techniques and voice care for teachers. Just a few of her grateful clients include Mars, Givaudan Roure, SD Worx, Expand Research and Heathrow Air Traffic Control and many schools and colleges. Her wedding speech tutorials and packages are particularly popular and she appreciates the many positive testimonials from speakers and brides alike!

Having worked as an examiner (8 years with London College of Music and Media) and festival adjudicator, Ginny still regularly runs highly effective master classes voice, movement, accents and stagecraft, for professional actors, singers and teachers, across the UK and overseas. Clients have included Fecund Theatre Company, Archway Theatre Company, Stratford East Theatre, Oxford Drama Guild and the Society of Teachers of Speech and Drama. She continues to run a popular and thriving Voice Care and Confidence clinic, based in Goring in South Oxfordshire for professional voice users, from all over the UK.
